Lady Warriors Pound North Newton in Sectional Opener

The Winamac Lady Warriors made a statement in last night’s Class 2A Sectional opener.  The host team beat #10 ranked North Newton 16-1 without batting an eye. High Five Friday

Last Friday the Winamac football team went over to the elementary to high five the kids and tell them to have a great Friday! Warrior Pride!

Winamac takes on Indiana middle school state track meet

6 middle school track girls participated in the Indiana Middle School State Track meet this past Saturday. All participants had to have qualifying times/heights to be invited. Participating for Winamac were: Alexis Sheets, Giselle Lowry, Kate Collins, Kendal Johnson, Kingsley Kroft & Rory Blackman. The girls set 4 new school records. Alexis Sheets (1600 m)

Winamac Beats LaVille; HNAC Tourney Canceled

Winamac hosted LaVille last Friday night for the first round of the annual HNAC Conference Tournament. The Lady Warriors beat the Lady Lancers 17-1 in 5 innings.  Senior, Mandi Hettinger got the win for the Warriors giving up just 1 run on 3 hits.  The Lancers scored their only run on a solo home run

Softball Loses to Morgan Township

The Lady Warriors lost to Morgan Township 7-1 in their final game of the season.  Aubrey Gearhart recorded the loss giving up 7 runs (6 earned) on 8 hits and 2 walks. The Lady Warriors struggled offensively, collecting only 3 hits on the night from seniors Mandi Hettinger (2B), Rylie Maddox and Erika Brogdon (RBI).
